No one likes a mean Moderator...remember you members are only there because they like who they're talking too! -Spell Correctly. As an Moderator people look up to you...and usually it's easier to read proper language over acronyms and gibberish. -Don't get power hungry. I know...you have whatever number of members, bowing to your feet. You have the POWER!! Just don't abuse it...lock whats needed to be locked. Be nice to them... -Check Your Grammar. Ad an Moderator people look up to you so don't post any gibberish that they can't understand. -Talking an understandable language. Usually people would really appreciate it if you'd talk in English. English is our international language. Right? -If You'd want to be respected, respect them too. As a moderator, you shouldn't act like the boss of everyone(though you are) you should be nice and if the members make a mistake try to break it to them softly. -Post In Colors. Members would think of you as a role model so post with style post in blue, red, brown but don't post in too bright colors though. :) -Doing Your Duties All The Time. Being a moderator isn't just about posting. It is also because you follow the rules and help keep the board clean. -Stickying Topics. You should sticky topics if it is really needed to be stickied not just it's your thread. (Post here what you want to add.)
